Oral Health Education at Pennington Dental

Oral health education is important to us. We like to spend the time to educate our patients on how to look after their teeth. We do this in a few ways either at your examination appointment, during your dental hygienist visit or during one of our Oral Health education sessions.

After your dental examination you may be referred to see one our Oral Health Educators. They will give you a demonstration of how to brush your teeth effectively, discuss which interdental options are available to you whether it be floss or tepes, give advice on how to use them and share any tips for your homecare. These sessions suit everyone, they have been especially popular for children.

Above, is a picture of Jasmine, one of our nurses who is set up for one of her oral health education sessions. Jasmine is currently studying for her oral health education qualification at the moment.
