"I am a new patient at this practise. A good start was being able to book my appointment within the same week of joining. I was seen on time! No waiting. Nice people, good manner, warm and welcoming. Smiles from all who worked there (which is unusual) . For a dentist my experience was ever so nearly relaxing (as much as it can be with strangers poking about in ones month)."

You will meet our treatment coordinator at Pennington Dental in a non-clinical setting to discuss what you like and dislike about your smile. This will be a 60-minute appointment so you will be able to ask lots of questions. You will then meet your Invisalign dentist who will assess your smile, explain how the treatment works, the estimated length of treatment and the proposed costs. This is your chance to ask lots of questions to help you to decide if Invisalign is right for you.
We will take a digital scan of your teeth using our iTero scanner and show you a 3D simulated image of how your teeth will look after Invisalign treatment. We will also use these scans to plan your treatment.
If you decide that Invisalign treatment is for you, we will book your first appointment here in Stratford-upon-Avon.
When your Invisalign aligners are ready, you will come to the practice to collect them. We will check the fit and explain how to clean and look after them. You should wear your aligners for 22 hours a day, removing to eat meals and drink, and to clean them twice a day.
We will schedule regular appointments to check the progress of your treatment. We will try our best to arrange your appointments at times that suit your lifestyle.
Once your treatment is complete, we will fit fixed retainers and provide you with clear Vivera retainers. These will ensure that your beautiful results last a lifetime.
Invisalign is a popular treatment used to straighten smiles and is often the go-to choice for adults and teenagers seeking an almost invisible solution. So, if you’ve always dreamed of a straighter smile, but don’t like the idea of metal braces, then Invisalign could be the solution for you.
Invisalign works by wearing a series of clear aligners in sequence. Each aligner fits over the teeth and gently moves the teeth into the desired position over time. No brackets or wires are required with Invisalign treatment, making this an easy-to-maintain option for straightening your smile.
Not only does this make Invisalign extremely discreet, it also means it is much easier to keep your oral health at an optimum during treatment. Invisalign aligners are removable and should be taken out when eating meals and snacks, meaning food will never become trapped in your orthodontic appliance. They should also be removed for twice daily cleaning – we suggest doing this when you clean your teeth in the morning and evening.
Many of our patients choose Invisalign because it is convenient, discreet, and easily fits around their lifestyle.
Invisalign can treat numerous concerns including misalignment of the teeth, a gappy smile, underbite, overbite and crossbite. This means that it is suitable for most patients and is a great method for improving your smile.
The ability to remove Invisalign aligners is one of the attributes of this treatment option that many of our patients really love. Taking the aligners out to clean them - and your teeth - is a huge bonus, but so is the ability to go aligner-free if an important event crops up.
The clear aligners are also extremely comfortable to wear because they are made from a flexible plastic called SmartTrack that has been made exclusively for Invisalign. This offers an exceptional fit as well as a crystal clear appearance, giving you the confidence to smile even during your teeth straightening treatment.
If you have always dreamed of a straighter smile, but visible braces have put you off doing anything about it, then Invisalign will be music to your ears. By simply wearing a series of clear, removable aligners you can achieve the smile you desire in the most discreet way, without the restrictions that come with fixed braces.
At Pennington Dental, your Invisalign journey in Stratford-upon-Avon starts with a digital scan. This provides us with a simulated image of how we expect your teeth to look at the end of treatment… seeing really is believing!
If you decide to go ahead with Invisalign treatment, your scans will be sent to the lab for your aligners to be made. Once they arrive, your dentist will provide you with your first set of clear aligners. Each one is worn for two weeks and they will work gently to move your teeth into the desired position.
Your aligners should be removed for eating meals and snacks, and for drinking anything other than cool water. They should also be removed for cleaning. For best results, your Invisalign aligners should be worn for 22 hours per day, but you can remove them for attending important work or social events.
During your treatment, you will regularly visit us at Pennington Dental so that we can provide you with your next set of aligners and continually check your progress.
Invisalign treatment costs from £3500. As each patient has different requirements the exact price of your treatment will be dependent on your own needs. We will be able to give you a clear indication of the price during your free consultation.
The length of your Invisalign treatment will depend on your own individual needs. Some milder cases only require 12 weeks of treatment, while complex cases can take up to 18 months. We will give you a proposed treatment time during your free consultation.
Invisalign works using clear aligners that fit snugly over the teeth. These gently and safely move the teeth into the desired position over time. The aligners are worn in sequence, each one moving the teeth a little more than the previous one. Your dentist at Pennington Dental will closely monitor your treatment to ensure everything is moving as predicted.
To clean your Invisalign aligners, simply remove them, rinse with cold water, and brush them gently with your toothbrush. This will keep them lovely and clean.
For many patients, Invisalign is just as effective as braces and will offer the same results – a beautiful, straight smile. For more complex cases, traditional orthodontic treatment may be a better option, but your dentist will be able to explain all of your options.
You cannot eat or drink anything other than cool water while wearing your Invisalign aligners. This is because tea and coffee could stain your aligners, making them more obvious while you are wearing them, and the heat from the drink may cause damage, too. In order to drink tea and coffee, you would need to remove your aligners first.
The short answer is… you don’t! If you break or damage one of your Invisalign aligners, contact us as soon as possible. We will be able to advise the best course of action – don’t worry, it happens!
When you eat or drink during your Invisalign treatment, you must remove your aligners. This prevents damage but also stops food debris and bacteria becoming trapped in your aligners. The great news is that it also means you can eat and drink as normal!
Send us your details and we will contact you to arrange a date and time for your appointment
