What is Restorative Dentistry?

Restorative Dentistry is the process of restoring missing, damaged or diseased teeth to normal form and function.  This can include cosmetic dentistry but usually refers to required rather than elective dentistry.  Crowns, Bridges and Dentures as well as fillings all fall into the restorative dentistry category.
