Safe, effective, caring dental services in Kenilworth
Posted 19th October 2017
We’re delighted with our most recent report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
They came to inspect our practice on the 26 September and their report has just been published. The inspection looks at five key questions to help inspectors to determine whether or not we are providing people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care.
For each of the five key questions, inspectors found that we are doing a good job, they determined that we are providing, safe, effective care, that our services are caring and responsive and that we are well-led.
One of the things that really pleased us was the independent feedback given to the inspectors by our patients, leading them to conclude: “The practice took patients views seriously. They valued compliments from patients and responded to concerns and complaints quickly and constructively.”
Inspectors also noted: “Patients told us staff were kind and helpful when they were in pain, distress or discomfort.” and that
“Patients told us they had enough time during their appointment and did not feel rushed.”
Dr Fuz Jamail said: “I would like to thank all of our patients for their kind words, and all of my staff who work so hard to make this an excellent dental practice. All of us at Pennington Dental are delighted with the report from the CQC and will continue our hard work to make sure our services are always safe, effective and caring.”
The full report is available on the CQC website: Pennington Dental Inspection Report.
Unlike other types of service the CQC regulate, they don't publish ratings on dentists.
