When Should You Brush Your Teeth in the Morning

Posted 12th February 2014

We are often asked when should you brush your teeth in the morning, before or after breakfast?

Our advice is to make brushing the last thing you do before leaving home in the morning. This ensures your teeth are clean and protected with a coating of fluoride.

Having said that, you need to make sure you are using a fluoride toothpaste and ideally a dry toothbrush (yes, we know this can feel a bit strange at first!)

After brushing, spit but don’t rinse. This ensures that the fluoride is not diluted and rinsed away.
